Speaker: Damchoe Wangmo
Buddhism teaches that there are three tools for acquiring wisdom: listening, contemplation, and meditation. This morning Damchoe Wangmo, a Buddhist nun who grew up in Saskatoon, will share with us her thoughts on this topic.
Damchoe Wangmo, the daughter of UCS member Mary Moody, has been studying at a Tibetan monastery in India since 2001 and will be the first international student to graduate from the monastery’s nine-year college program. Her blog is called “Damchoe’s Nun Sense.”
