March 13, 2010 – Newcomer's Dinner Whether you've just joined us as a visitor, or if you've been attending for a couple of years "on the fringes", this is a great event for you! The program of the evening provides an opportunity to learn about the Congregation and about Unitarianism in general. There are also a couple of games, a nice meal, and lots of opportunities to get to know others. This is a very casual event that provides an overview of who we are and how we do things.Join us March 13th, 5:30-9:00 p.m. Please register by March 8 to LizJames [at] me.com, 612-2773. March 19–21, 2010 – Western Region Youth Conference This is a great opportunity for our youth to make personal connections with UU youth from other cities. Adult advisors will attend with the youth from other congregations; however, they need to sleep at night in order to do the driving safely. May 1, 2010 – Talent Auction Time: 1:00 – 4:00 PM For fun, games and fellowship. What will you donate? Cooking Lesson? Computer help? Gift Basket? Painting Class? Everyone is invited. Donate what you want and can afford. You will receive UCS Bucks to spend at the auction. |
